The first is a mile long hike to Highway 1 which runs the length San Lucas to catch a bus downtown which is not a very pleasant experience in the heat. The second is to get into a cab to your destination. Negotiate with the taxi driver before taking off it will save you a lot of agony haggling once you get to your destination. Though they are a little pricey you are on holiday you can afford to start off your vacation with a little thriftiness!

Not the splurging type? No worries there are a couple of shuttles that run from the airport. These are usually shared and less pricey. Depending on your luck you might find a premium service with new models and air-conditioning.  
By far the most reliable way to get around though is a car hire service. There are several car hire companies right at the terminal and some further along. The convenience of travelling around at your own discretion is appealing but you pay for this convenience. Anything between sixty and seventy bucks a day is the standard rate you should be looking to fork out. Do not forget to take out insurance though!
